The "Royal Regatta", which each last
week of September, are the "high point" of the season, bringing in
the bay of Cannes more than 150 yachts among the finest in the world, from 10
to 50 meters.
For a week,
these splendors, often old, competing in fierce battles but always prints of
"fair play".
Sailing low
over the beaches and jetties, they offer a spectacle of rare beauty that
hundreds of spectators from all over Europe, voluptuously eaten.
